Ray is proud to have been a part of the vibrant London club scene of the early to mid 1980’s. Fronting the highly successful band The Chevalier Brothers gained him great experience working before an audience. At their peak, The Chevalier Brothers were playing around 200 shows a year ! It was in this band that Ray developed his distinctive, Louis Prima influenced vocal style that people still love to this day.

But the main event in 2020 was the celebration of 25 years of the “Giants” band, with the release of a 25th anniversary live album ( on vinyl LP incuding CD with bonus tracks ) available from this website, along with many special shows, including a return for a 5 night residency at the Blue Note Jazz Club in Milan in February, plus numerous UK and European dates throughout the year.

2021 saw the release of a brand new album with all new tracks recorded during lockdown “Locked Down But Not Out”, possibly Ray’s finest studio recording to date. Now available on CD and download from this website.
