In the  Autumn of 2023 they returned for another London show, followed by a UK wide tour leading up to a headline slot at Wave Gotik Treffen in 2024 as well as more headline shows in the EU and UK in support of their latest EP, ‘Velventine’.

Rooted in madrigal traditions and later cross-bred with goth-industrial and prog-rock cuttings, their musical hybrid has borne many fruit. They topped the classical charts with 1990’s ‘Madra’. They’ve toured with the likes of Depeche Mode, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, Hole and Einstürzende Neubauten. They’ve released 4 follow-up studio albums, including their last – the critically acclaimed, show-stopping ‘Carnival of Souls’.

Their current arrangement includes founding member Katharine Blake as vocalist, with Trevor Sharpe (Minty, The Servant) on drums, Teresa Casella (Wasted Youth) on bass and Justine Armatage (The Cesarians) on keyboards. Founding member and guitarist Ben Golomstock died in 2018, but his sound lives on through Jimmy Martin . Performer Bev Lee Harling completes the group.
