Andrew Weatherall has long been surprising punters with his legendary 7″ rock ‘n roll sets, so for devotees this should be an expectation rather than an oddity, and in true Weatherall style it’ll be a shockingly good selection from start to finish.
People often forget that good rock music works just as well on the dancefloor as dance music and AW is out to prove it with his selection of dusty rock gems, as highlighted on the Sci-Fi-Lo-Fi compilation on Soma Records.
Note: it was with great sadness that we heard that the inspirational Andrew Weatherall passed away in February 2020. Another prodigious musical talent gone far too soon.
